First of all, I HATE all the people that get all pissed about having pregnant cats. I have sorta made it my mission to adopt pregnant queens that are otherwise going to be abandoned. Having said all that jazz, there are a few signs that your cat is pregnant.
–Her nipples will start to swell around 3 weeks into her pregnancy. They will also become pinker. It’s really obvious. This is a sign you really can’t miss.
–She may show an increase in appetite. It’s very similar to a human who is pregnant. She’s eating for her and her kittens now. Also, like a human, you may see a little morning sickness, which is kind ucky, but normal. Unless she’s vomitting constantly, that’s not a good thing ever.
–Around 5 weeks her belly will swell up. The difference between a pregnant cat and a really fat cat is in the neck and hips, they look normal on a prego cat and fat on a fat cat.
–Your cat also might become more affectionate toward you.
While she’s pregnant you should switch her food to a kitten food, a mix of dry and wet. Cats have a gestation period of about 63 days. If you think your cat is going into labor (which is what mine are doing soon, both of them) look for these signs.
–She’ll begin “nesting” meaning she’s looking for a nice place to have her babies. Find her a box with low sides, so she can get in and out. Put it in a quiet, dark, warm area where she’ll feel comfortable. Make sure she’s away from kids and other pets.
–Your cat may become restless, she may pace across the room. Or she might become really loud, meowing a lot. Watch for excess genital grooming and panting as well.
–When she goes into labor you’ll see contractions and all that.
Cats are pretty good about delivering. It’s important to make sure that the kittens are breathing and clean and dry and warm. I would suggest getting a seperate box to put the kittens in, while your cat is giving birth because she might step on them. Put a heating pad in the bottom of the box and a blanket, of decent thickness, over top of it and put the kittens on the blanket. Keep them warm, but don’t burn them. Make sure mom gets plenty of food and water after birthing and make sure she feeds the kittens.
Good luck and congratulations. If you need more info, I would Google “pregnant cat” and read up on it.

pregnancy lasts 60 or 62 days..she needs extra food and a dark place to have the kittens, a box in a closet would be fine..the kittens need to be kept in the dark until their eyes are opened about 10 days..mom will clean and potty them, {what a relief} just keep their bedding clean lots of fresh water and food for mom and you will have the time of your life watching them grow and play. When they begin to eat solid food they will need a very low 9×13 pan with litter, mom will teach them how to use it..I put sheets down in my closet and gave them the whole closet to move around in. leave the door ajar so mom can get in and out..enjoy them.

I dont know anywhere where cat breeding is illegal. But shes gonna be very tired and sometimes easily agitated. She’ll eat alot more and drink more as well. She might not like being touched on her belly. Her nipples will enlarge and become sensitive. If you do choose to check them for sensitivity, Please dont do it around your friends, NOT COOL!! And one last very important thing, If she does end up having kittens, Please get her spayed. You will save so many lives. Thanks so much:)

people arent very nice on here about pregnant animals, they are kind of @sses… but anyway what you can expect is for her to get bigger, you will have to feed her more and you should go to your local vet and get some vitamins, ask them which would be good for your cat, if they are really expensive you can get them at a pet store too. Also, when she gets ready to have her kittens she will try to hide somewhere and she will probably be meowing really loud.
