How Can I Get Cat Pee Out Of My New Leather Couch?

Help! I need to get cat pee out of my new leather couch and re-train my cat not to repeat this habit. My vet has put him on medication and he has been isolated for now. In the meantime I need to clean the couch and prevent damage to the leather. I have tried Urine-Erase but this is more appropriate for a carpet.

Hi there…consider using Nature’s Miracle (available worldwide at any pet store). It’s an enzymatic neutralizer which lifts the urine odours by thoroughly soaking the affected area to let air dry. Repeated applications may be necessary depending on how heavily soiled the area is as leather holds urine odours better than most surfaces.

You can’t get cat pee out of anything. The ammonia content in their urine is ridiculously high.
However, you can try to inject your couch pillows with a neutralizer containing enzymes. Most carpet cleaning companies can do this to your couch. Or try going to a pet store and look for pet odor neutralizing formulas. You’ll have to get a needle of sorts to literally inject it.
This will help tremendously but will never fully get rid of the problem. But this should help that he won’t do it again.
    Good luck!
