Don’t People Understand That Helping To Rescue A Cat Is Not Only A Good Thing, It Will Make Them Feel Good?

I moved into a neighborhood with a lot of undesexed strays. I took 3 months off work and set up a website in September aimed at desexing and rehoming them, all at my own expense. I’ve now rescued and desexed, vaccinated, microchipped etc about 20 kitties, but almost all still need homes. I’ve spent alot of money and put alot of time into it and over 3 months is up and I have to get on with my life, so please please help if you can. Even if you can’t give a kitty a home, you can help by getting the word out to other animal lovers. I really need other peoples help now…and so do the kitties. The site is http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
and it has live streaming video of kitties needing homes 24 hours a day, and no ads. The kitties aren’t “for sale” and I’m not even selling advertising, it’s all completely charitable and funded by me.
Yes, cat rescue or helping with it can be inconvient..you’d probably rather watch tv…but i promise it will make u feel good if u help these kitties

Bless your heart. You love the kitties,,I love the doggies ;O)
I have put your site in my favorites & have recently been thinking of making a site for dogs. NOTHING bothers me more in the world than animal abuse of any sort.http://helpinganimals.com “the kill box”http://Peta.com Iams experimental lab
People need to know whats really going on.Animals have feelings & love in their hearts.
I think people dont know what to do.Contact your town/city/state officials & let them know that you are outraged over the way animals are used & abused & left for dead. thx. ;O)

I agree! Rescuing kitty cats is wonderful not only for the animal but for yourself. I have 2 rescued cats and they make me so happy! Unconditional love and no talking back. :)

I looked at your site yesterday and think it’s a great thing. I got my kitty in August from the SPCA and he has done wonders for my stress levels. Ahhh, nothing like a purring bundle of fur beside you.

Its admiral what you are doing, but a lot of people dont want cats. And a lot of people already have too many cats. I think the best thing for you to do is find a shelter for these cats. You can probably find a no kill shelter. If you want to keep helping the cats, I think the best bet is to look into catching the wild cats, spaying/neutering them, and then releasing them because you can only care for so many. It will keep those cats from reproducing thus cutting down on the homless population. Sorry I am not much help. There are even some ways to get grants to do this. Good luck.
    Edited:
I assume you do not live in the United States, because if you did, you would know that there are hundreds of no kill shelters. If you’re not from the US, then none of my advice applys to you. But there is such a thing as no kill shelters. Bunches of them.
    Edited yet again:
Dont be so touchy. No I didnt look up the website becasue I don’t need another cat (I have two rescued cats and a rescued dog) and it breaks my heart to see unwanted cats that I cannot help. You shouldnt be such a jerk to people who are trying to help.
